A Note from the Founder
As a young professional juggling work and studies, Ragoth Bala had neither the resources nor time to make his favorite Indian dishes that he grew up with. When his mother sent him a care package from India with a set of perfectly preserved meals that were also completely preservative-free. One bite in and he was transported. Those were the flavors of his childhood in their truest forms.
I created The Cumin Club to make healthy Indian food easily accessible, to give people an alternative to expensive takeout and unhealthy microwaveable meals.
Our company is rooted in authenticity, featuring dishes across India that you won’t find on shelves. Our expert chefs use locally sourced ingredients and traditional cooking methods to ensure that we stay true to every dish.
So whether you grew up with Indian food or recently discovered your love for it, we welcome you to our table.
Food is a bridge to family and culture, especially for those far from home. We started The Cumin Club to give ourselves that feeling of belonging that we missed and to introduce real Indian flavors to our

This was something that needed to be shared. With a mission to make authentic Indian food easy and accessible, he and his friends, Harish and Kiru, started The Cumin Club.
Since 2019, the club has only grown, reaching beyond diaspora in the US to become a welcoming gateway for those trying Indian food for the first time. As we move into 2023, Ragoth, Harish, and Kiru continue to bring new recipes and products, carrying that dream and always keeping flavor at the heart!
